Sri Lanka treasury bonds yields opened steady on dull trade ahead of a Bill auction on Wednesday while the Central Bank’s guidance peg for interbank transactions depreciated by three cents, dealers said.
A bond maturing 15.01.2025 quoted at 32.75/33.25 percent on Monday, up from 32.50/33.00 percent on Monday.
A bond maturing on 15.05.2026 quoted at 31.00/20 percent, steady from 31.05/15 percent at the previous close.
The Central Bank’s guidance peg for interbank transactions was at 363.16 rupees against the US dollar gaining from 363.12 rupees on Wednesday.
Data showed that commercial banks offered dollars for telegraphic transfers at 371.66 for small transactions. The buying rate was 361.08 rupees.
