Another six Navy officers contract coronavirus

Another six Navy officers have contracted the coronavirus, taking the total number of patients detected with the virus in Sri Lanka to 869.

Director-General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that all six Navy officers were attached to the Welisara Navy camp.
He said that their samples were tested at the Karapitiya Hospital.

The number of recoveries is at 321.

The Ministry of Health said there are 533 active COVID-19 patients receiving treatment.

There are 116 suspected COVID-19 cases under medical observation.
