Bank employees allowed to use ID’s as a pass during the curfew

COLOMBO (News1st):  The government today (March 23) announced that bank employees will be permitted to use their Bank Identity Card as a pass to engage in official matters during the curfew. Issuing a statement, the Department of Government Information said that Acting Inspector General of Police Chandana Wickramaratne had granted permission to this effect.
