COLOMBO (News 1st) – An inmate who escaped from the Pallekele Open Prison, two years ago, has been arrested. According to the police, the inmate is a criminal linked to many robberies. The 35-year-old resident of the Aluwiharaya area in Matale escaped prison in 2017. He is to be presented to the Matale Magistrate today(September 08).
