COLOMBO (News 1st):-12 individuals who attempted to illegally immigrate to Australia were arrested in Iranawila, Chilaw. The police said that the arrest was made based on a tip-off. The arrested individuals are residents of Walachchenei, Welikanda, Kalkuda, and Thoduwawa. They are due to be presented before the Chilaw Magistrate Courts today (August 18).
