COLOMBO (News 1st): The Supreme Court has issued an injunction order preventing the implementation of the death penalty till the 30th of October. The order was issued by a three-judge bench consisting of Justices Buwaneka Aluwihare, Gamini Amarasekara and Prasanna Jayawardene when the petitions filed against the death sentence was taken up for consideration.
