Colombo (News1st): Protests by estate workers continued today demanding their daily wages be raised to Rs. 1000. Around 400 estate workers protested along the Deniyaya – Akuressa main road. The workers launched their demonstration four days ago. News 1st correspondents in the are stated that operations in a majority of the estates have been hampered.
