COLOMBO (News 1st) – A councillor of the Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha has been arrested on charges of assaulting a doctor. According to the Police Jayaweera Mataraarachchi, a councillor of the Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha from the SLPP is the arrested suspect. The arrested councillor is due to be presented before court.
