COLOMBO (News 1st) – A certified price for corn is due to be announced today (August 20). Chairman of the National Food Promotion Board Buddika Iddamalgoda stated that the price will be announced following discussions with the Minister of Agriculture. He added that the government will purchase corn at the certified price from next harvesting season.
