COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Weligama Police department organized a protest walk to create awareness on ill effects of using narcotic substances. It was attended by a large crowd including Weligama Divisional Secretary Sumith Shantha, students, government officials and police officers. This walk commenced from Assapa National School in Weligama and ended in the Weligama town.
